it seems the adidas are really riding their popularity at the moment, they have the lightest, most popular boot on the market at the moment and they are looking to capitalize. i say this because they are releasing a new color way every week at the moment. I'm a fan of the boot, its a piece of pure innovation and engineering. i have to say, that they don't look horrible, but i haunt been in love with any of the recent color ways, i find a simple all one color boot with little accents here and there looks the best, not a technicolor dream coat boot. but thats just me, maybe I'm odd........ these are better than others though.....

the position of chelsea fc manager probably has the highest risk factor in modern football, the average amount of time a manager can expect to be in charge of the chavs is just over a season, not that the managers really care. the chelsea job is one of the highest paid jobs in football, and they dont exactly only sign a manger for a season, which does seem to be the more logical thing to do, especially when the clubs owner goes through mangers like he does yachts. so win or lose, most mangers can only expect to have the job short term, and then have a nice large golden handshake to look forward to as the rest of their contract is paid out. you have to admire the lunacy and complexity of the football industry......

i suggest you all go and look at the site, it makes me laugh and feel sad at the same time. football is a bit of a joke really. well done roman, youve ruined it for us all.

i like it when nike get things right..........

so this is my first post for a while, and im very sorry but it is going to be a football related post, and not just that, it is a post for serious football nerds like me (who are few and far between).......

nike have always been my favorite brand of football boot, they tend to look better, fit me better personally, and for quite a long time, they were the leaders and industry standard for innovation and development. i have  been a long supporter of the nike vapor, in its early form that is. the current version nike have come up with is little more than striking to look at. the purpose of the vapor was that it is a super lightweight boot, good for speed and a very touch sensitive. the problem with the current versions is that they are no longer the lightest boot on the market, the adidas adizero is, and the vapor is now by far the most expensive boot on the market, costing over R3500, which is pretty steep, mental some would say....

hapily though, nike have inadvertantly given us a new version of their classic tiempo boot, which in my opinion is now the clear choice for lightness and touch, making the vapor, nikes own flagship boot for technology etc, obsolete. im gonna get the tiempo, especially when it looks like this............................

these are the new vapors, which look shit im sorry to say....................its the crap color schemes, far too busy.

new nike vapors....cristano ronaldos new signature model. very over pried and compared to adizeros they arent that light either but damn if the aint pretty.
